Thanks to Sandy and her kind words of encouragement . . . I did it, I finished the Vera socks for my sockapal-2-za pal.
I finished them yesterday afternoon and I'm so happy. Thanks Sandy.
Much like I thought, it was too hot outside today to knit a swatch of the Brooks Farm Mohair, so I worked on Martha Jo. I've finished the armhole shaping and now have a few inches until I work on the shoulder shaping
-- I should be able to finish the back before I get overtaken by my next project!
I'll try to scan a picture of the IK Kristin Nicholas shawl/stole tomorrow. At the very least, I'll share my swatch. Plus I'm planning a trip to my LYS before we take off for Northern Michigan later this week . . . . I'm now so addicted to sock knitting that I find I must always have one going!
See? Feels great, doesn't it? :) GOod for you! And they look marvy! I was going to threaten you with my pom poms and cheering routine, but that is only for desperate times!
:)
haha!
Martha Jo is looking great! Here's to cooler weather!
